About this project

This development makes use of a plot of land in an industrial area and creates a stunning apartment block. The client’s preference was for a very modern building that will help to uplift an otherwise neglected area of Leicester. The building’s design is informed by its surroundings, using variations in levels to reflect the heights of neighbouring buildings. The trailing ‘ribbon’ mimics a nearby watercourse and provides some shading and canopies whilst also giving the building a sense of identity. This four storey building will be primarily residential, however some retail space is proposed on the ground floor.
