About this project

This proposal was the demolition of an existing dwelling and replace it with a vast new-build 9-bedroom property which would house two families. The core footprint is symmetrical, as requested by our clients, with an angled wing to one side that houses a quadruple garage with a master bedroom above. The brief was to create the impression of a traditional stately home at the front, with modern elements and materials to bring it into the present day. The rear is designed with a modern emphasis overall, using large areas of glazing and cladding. The rear maintains a connection to the front by way of windows with Georgian bars, brick headers and sills. Guests also have a dedicated annexe in which to freshen up, relax, and sleep.
